CHILLING ZANGLA VIA JUNGLAM

If you are a hardcore trekker willing to explore the Ladakhi wilderness, then this is the best trek for you. The trek route is not for the inexperienced trekker and requires a lot of stamina to complete successfully. With more than 100 river crossings, this trek is done best in the months of August till September, taking you through beautiful gorges in the Ladhaki and the Zanskari regions. Before starting this trek, it is important that the trekkers get acclimatized to the lack of oxygen in the atmosphere owing to the higher altitudes in Ladakh.
This route from Chilling to Zangla requires experienced guides who are apt in negotiating the passes which transverse through the mountain ranges of Markha and Zanskar. You will get to experience a lot of Ladhaki culture, their spirituality and lifestyle as we cover the entire region, enjoying mother nature in all her glory. This trek takes you through 12 days of self-discovery.
Kang yatse I
Kang Yatse 1 peak lies in the renowned Markha valley in the Ladakh region. Markha valley is a popular trekking spot in the Himalayas. One can spot Stok Kangri, Saser Massif, and Karakoram range peak doing this trek.
Chadar
The word Chadar is derived from Urdu language translating to cloak which is precisely very apt for Chadar trek as it’s basically a trek across the frozen blanket of ice sheet over the Zanskar River

Day 7: Tamdongsa to Chupchak in 6 hrs

PICK UP
The only way to travel is to fly to Kushok Bakula Rimpochi Airport located in Leh. It is just 4 km away from the main city. The airport is well connected to Delhi and also receives flights from Mumbai, Srinagar, Jammu, Chandigarh and other general destinations in India. Even international travellers can fly directly from major cities like Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi.
INCLUSIONS
