Conquer the Mountains of Ladakh: Join the Ultimate KY2 (Kangyatse II) Expedition

15 Days
Moderate to Challenging (Semi-technical) 6,250 meters (20,505 ft) Mid-June to Late September

About the Experience

“The mountains are calling—and few peaks echo louder than Kang Yatse II.”

Imagine standing atop a 6,250-meter Himalayan giant, where the winds sing songs of ancient summits and the horizon kisses the heavens. This is Kang Yatse II (KY2)—the quieter, tougher sibling of Stok Kangri, nestled in the Markha Valley of Ladakh.

Few have dared. Fewer have succeeded.

Will you be one of the few who answer the call?

About Kang Yatse II (KY2)

  • Location: Markha Valley, Hemis National Park, Ladakh, India
  • Altitude: 6,250 meters (20,505 feet)
  • Coordinates: Approx. 33.8781° N, 77.6373° E

Kang Yatse II is the easier twin peak of the Kang Yatse massif, yet it stands proud among India’s loftiest climbs. While KY1 requires technical mountaineering, KY2 is a semi-technical climb, perfect for high-altitude trekkers ready to push their limits.

Unlike overcrowded trails, this expedition offers raw Himalayan solitude, breathtaking panoramic views of the Zanskar and Karakoram ranges, and the feeling of standing on top of the world—without the crowds.

Who Should Join This Expedition?

This isn't just a trek—it’s a personal Everest.

Perfect For:

  • Intermediate to advanced trekkers
  • Climbers who’ve scaled peaks above 5,000m
  • Trekkers seeking a first semi-technical Himalayan climb
  • Adventure enthusiasts craving untouched alpine routes

If you’ve dreamed of climbing big Himalayan peaks, but don’t want full technical ropes-andice-axe ascents yet—KY2 is your calling.

Why This Expedition is Unmissable

  • Alpine Experience Without Full Technical Gear
  • Uncrowded Routes – Unlike Stok Kangri or Everest Base Camp
  • Stunning Views – See K2, Nanga Parbat, and Zanskar ranges
  • Cultural Trail – Traverse ancient Ladakhi villages and Buddhist monasteries
  • True Test of Endurance – Altitude, terrain, and grit

This is more than a climb. It’s a journey to rediscover your strength, willpower, and connection with nature.
